Co-Employment Risk Mitigation & Consulting

One of the biggest liabilities for companies today is the co-employment issues and potential reclassification concerns associated with independent contractors. Because of these liabilities, many companies are forced to convert their independent contractors to full-time employees, forcing some ICs to leave taking their valuable skills with them. Many organizations have realized that despite the liability, hiring independent contractors and contingent workers provides a necessary advantage over full time employees. Working with a variety of companies, we have recognized that utilizing contingent labor is increasingly more complex and creates risk exposure that can be financially devastating to an organization. We have developed a comprehensive risk mitigation program.

Elevated Resources offers an on-going validation and risk management (VRM) solution for independent contractors (IC). Elevated Resources validation process mitigates risk, while making the initial, and more importantly, ongoing validation and assessment process as simple as possible for the IC. Utilizing the IRS 20 question test, and other stringent requirements, Elevated Resources far surpasses the basic criteria. The VRM program manages all aspects of the 1099 population, including:

  • Initial validation of the 1099 population
  • Quarterly re-validation and assessment
